Today, Congressman Jerrold Nadler released the following statement in response to the terrorist attack in Jerusalem that injured 21 people:

"The horrific Jerusalem bus bombing that injured 21 people is yet another inexplicable act of terror against innocent civilians that must be met with outright condemnation by the international community," said Congressman Nadler. "There is no excuse for innocent lives being harmed like this.  None.  Even as there has been on-going random acts of terror against Israelis, this particular attack raises fears about returning to a time in Israel’s history when suicide bombings were rampant, and larger-scale tragedies involving innocent civilian casualties were a horrific part of daily life.  I call upon Israeli and Palestinian leaders to immediately denounce this attack and ensure that the terror infrastructure is dismantled and that further violence is prevented. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.  I join many others in hoping that no more families must grieve as a result of hateful attacks and we can instead work together in search of peace."
