Today, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY-10) announced that millions of dollars in federal grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) will be awarded to 81 artistic organizations and institutions in the 10th Congressional District of New York. These grants range in value from $10,000 to $100,000 and will help finance a wide variety of activities including workshops, publications, and exhibitions that are essential to maintaining New York City’s thriving artistic community.
“New York City has always been the source of some of the most talented and creative artists of not only the nation, but the entire world,” said Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY-10). “I am proud to announce funding for these vital and vibrant organizations in my Congressional District that will continue New York City’s fine tradition of artistic exceptionalism. These organizations continue to be a principal contributor to New York City’s status as the most culturally dynamic city in the world.”
