Today, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), released the following statement on the hateful rhetoric of Louis Farrakhan: 

"For decades, Louis Farrakhan has proudly peddled anti-Semitic, homophobic, and other hateful rhetoric. I have denounced him in the past, and I continue to do so. Mr. Farrakhan’s recent remarks are especially reprehensible given the 57% rise in anti-Semitic incidents reported by the Anti-Defamation League in 2017. In this period of resurgent intolerance, we must unequivocally reject all forms of bigotry and hate regardless of whether they surface on the Right or the Left. I condemn Mr. Farrakhan for his continued embrace of anti-Semitism, and remain committed to ensuring that this behavior has no place in our society.”
