Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY-10), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, released the following statement on Republican bills H.R. 4138 and H.R. 3973:

"These Republican messaging bills are based on half-truths, are completely unworkable, and are without any benefit to the millions of Americans who want more from Congress than silly messages. Americans want results. Americans want higher wages, a better immigration system and affordable health care. I guess the Republicans are content to have them wait. That is really sad. Rather than addressing the serious problems facing America, the Republicans are promoting thoroughly flawed solutions in search of imaginary problems."
