New York City, NY - Today, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY-10) announced that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) will award nearly $2 million in federal grants to 69 artistic organizations and institutions in New York’s 10th Congressional District. These grants will help finance a wide variety of activities that are essential to maintaining New York City’s thriving artistic community.
“New York City has always led both the nation and the world in producing some of the world’s most talented artists and creatives. This cultural and artistic vibrancy comes as no surprise to our city, which serves as a center of diversity, passion, and opportunity for people worldwide,” said Congressman Nadler. “I am proud to announce this new federal funding which will continue to support New York City’s tradition of artistic greatness for years to come.”
