Rep. Nadler Announces National Endowment for the Arts Grants to 18 Organizations and Institutions in New York’s 10th Congressional District

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Jerrold Nadler announced that nearly $2 million in federal grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) will be awarded to 18 organizations and institutions dedicated to the arts in the 10th Congressional District of New York. These grants will help finance various activities that are essential to maintaining New York City's thriving artistic community. "Since its founding, New York City has produced some of the world's leading artists and creatives," said Congressman Nadler. "New Yorkers are diverse, unique and passionate, so it is no wonder that this city's vibrant culture has spawned so many talented artists. I am proud to announce this funding which will help continue New York City's fine tradition of artistic exceptionalism. I am even more proud to have supported the American Rescue Plan, which has made these grants possible. By delivering this critical funding to these organizations and institutions, the NEA is ensuring NYC will continue to remain a worldwide leader in culture and the arts."
