Today, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, released the following statement on the Supreme Court’s decision in Trump v. Hawaii:

“I am appalled by the Court’s decision in Trump v. Hawaii.  Today, the Court willfully turned a blind eye to the religious animus motivating the President when he issued the travel ban and would have us pretend that we did not hear the President’s words when he spoke of a ‘total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the U.S.’  This is a dark day for our country.”
